In this episode, I discuss with Myke my idea that most news these days is really not. It’s “Information Theater” designed to give you just enough sensationalism, titillation and the false feeling of being informed in the cheapest ways possible. Most of it can (and should) be ignored for far more important things. Yet, one should also seek out what news should really be: Journalism with scrutiny, thoughtful opinion, and balanced analysis of what it means and how it affects us.
